Ka’ne
     I make my escape after Nari leaves. I just couldn’t stay. Vael intentionally got me drunk and then took advantage of that. I lie in the captain’s chair and stare at the star chart floating above me on the display. A few planets are marked by Kibou. I had asked for planets that were “off the grid” and out of Lanazo’s reach.
          “Which one looks best?” I ask Kibou.
          “All are equally ‘good’ according to your preference,” she says.
